Germantown Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school located on a beautiful 126-acre campus in the Fort Washington suburbs near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school serves more than 1,200 students in grades PK-12. Founded in 1759, GA is America’s oldest non-sectarian day school with rich traditions and a strong commitment to ongoing innovation of curricular and pedagogical practices.

Per-diem substitute teachers are needed for PreK through 5th grade. Applicants need to have an elementary teaching background or prior camp experience with elementary aged students and be available from 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM. Candidates may be called on short notice for daily needs or for longer term assignments. Clearances need to be up to date. Pay rates are as follows:
$164 per day plus lunch
$82 for a half day up to 4 hours
